Hi guys, does anybody know if the 2012 450 lightning has any horsepower restrictions built in from the factory?  if so, where are they and how do you remove them. I'm guessing its restricted to 20hp from the factory, but its real HP is like 46hp.  Thanks for the answer..!

Hi,

Yes all the 450 has a restriction, pretty simple to remove allthough, you have it on the throttle like the picture below
But, remember, if you remove that you also need to open the whole throttlehousing because you got a nut on the inside as
well and if you don´t remove that the throttle could jam for you while you are driving

Wow, thats it?  I thought it was in the carb or exhaust pipe.
