Hi.

When i apply throttle very gently from a standstill in any gear on my 520 i can feel something engage with a small jerk just over idle and just before the CV kicks in.

As far as i can see they dont have neither a wet or dry centrifugal clutch so i suppose it is the oneway bearing locking in, but im not sure!

Is this little jerk normal for these ATV’s

Found a cool video that explains the oneway.

So the jerking can only be a small amount of transmission backlash when the CVT spools up.
